to Billers

Add a Biller

TelPay welcomes requests to have Billers added to our list. Please complete the Add a Biller form and forward it to TelPay.

The process of completing the addition may take a few weeks as we must contact the Biller for additional information.

Billers added by this process should be companies that issue monthly statements and for whom payment can be properly allocated with just the customer's account number with that Biller. eg. utilities, credit card companies, municipalities, etc.

If the company requires invoice numbers as well it may be best to have it set up as a Customer Specific Biller. Users of TelPay's front end systems such as TelPay Over the Counter®, TelPay Online (Internet version) and TelPay for Business™, can set up these Customer Specific Billers themselves.

The biller must meet the following criteria in order to be added:

• Must provide TelPay with complete Biller information
• Payments are made to Canadian bank accounts only
• Signing of Biller Agreement
• Transaction Volume must be significant
• Copy of bill/invoice
