MicroPilot is the world’s leading manufacturer of autopilot electronic hardware, software, accessories, training and integration services for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and micro aerial vehicles (MAVs). The company currently services over 500 clients in 60 countries, including NASA and the Spanish Navy.

Problem

In spite of its cutting-edge, high-tech products and services, MicroPilot was paying bills the old fashioned way – by cheque and mail. It was challenging enough to have suppliers located across North America, but with clients scattered across 60 countries, accounting logistics were an enormous issue. Since the company’s president was always on the go, his schedule would grind to a halt every time he was required to return to the office to sign off on the piles of cheques that collected each month.

Solution

MicroPilot had built their success upon technology and efficiency so the Telpay system was an excellent fit, both operationally and philosophically.  MicroPilot integrated the Telpay for Business system into their accounting department, thus avoiding the many issues that arise from cheques.
