*Where we do not have the recipient's bank account number we will mail a cheque the next business day and request the recipient to forward a bank account number for future payments. Otherwise the recipient's bank account will be credited the next business day at most Canadian financial institutions.

Manage your money more effectively using TelPay.

When paying a number of bills on the same date, TelPay will debit your account for the total, not for each individual bill. This reduces the number of transactions and therefore, the service charges that may be charged by your bank.

Forward date your payments to coincide with your payday, so long as doing so still falls within the bill's due date. This will give you the best opportunity to keep your account balance over the minimum required to avoid service charges. It may also help avoid overdraft charges.

Pay your credit card balance in full and by the due date if you can. Credit card interest charges are very high and should be avoided if possible. Keep your balance low by budgeting carefully and making maximum payments on your payday.

Have your money work for you, not your bank. With TelPay your payments will be debited to your bank account and credited to your biller on the same day. With other services your account may be debited as many as three and sometimes more days before payment is credited to your biller.
