Onboarding Process – Gather your business documents

To meet Know Your Clients (KYC) FINTRAC regulatory requirements, we need to obtain, verify, and record information of every applicant. Ensure you have the following:

  • Business structure including Direct and Indirect Ownership information
  • Business documents such as Articles of Incorporation, CRA statements, and business license
  • A copy of a cleared cheque or bank statement from the business’s bank account

During Telpay’s application review, our Compliance Department will send you a FINTRAC Information Record Form to finalize your Telpay account. Once completed, email the FINTRAC Information Record Form to compliance@telpay.ca.
