Inside Sales Position

  • Full time Opportunity – Monday to Friday

We are seeking a talented and energetic sales professional with experience in cold calling, account management and sales campaign development in the business services or technology sector.  Experience with the accounting services profession or financial services sector would be a definite asset.

The position is based in our Winnipeg head office and you will assist in the development and continued growth of our core business across Canada, with a focus on software as a solution for improving business processes.  This role involves significant time prospecting, presenting and demonstrating our software online and engaging prospects and customers over the phone.  Your efforts will be fully supported by our team of industry-leading marketing and customer care professionals.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the ideal candidate will have the following profile:

• Minimum 3 years inside or outside sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Experience selling to the Accounting industry, or a CPA designation an asset.
• Experience selling technology products and services across Canada.
• Experience in market segmentation and sales campaign development, execution and reporting.
• The ability to plan, conduct and follow-up on remote sales and marketing presentations via online meeting and sales tools. 
• Proven ability to manage the sales process from plan to close, including managing our customers’ experience from initial contact through to implementation of our software and follow-up to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Good problem solving ability.
• Proficient computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM experience.
• Customer service oriented.
• Strong business sense and acumen.
• Motivated and disciplined, with strong time management skills.
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to trade shows as required, up to 3-4 times per year.

Business Development Manager – Financial Institutions

Telpay’s Financial Institutions (FI’s) and Financial Service Providers (FSP) partners include banks, credit unions, cash and money stores, prepaid card issuers & retail stores.


The position is based in Winnipeg and you will assist in the development and growth of our FI & FSP business across Canada.  If you are looking to grow your career in Sales and want to join a dynamic company that is committed to its’ team members’ personal growth and development, this position is perfect for you!

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customer relationships and the implementation of new business.
• Ensure contractual obligations are being met with regards to service, pricing and renewals.
• Engage other departments at Telpay as required to meet customer requirements.
• Actively seek out and sign up FI’s and FSPs who require bill payment processing solutions.
• Generate customer proposals and presentations.
• Resolve any issues escalated by Customer Care.
• Evaluate system modification and change requests forwarded by FI’s and FSPs.
• Respond to FI and FSP audit requirements, such as questionnaires and site visits.
• Marketing communication development and coordination to financial institution customers.
• CRM Database management for FI & FSP clients.
• Regular updates to Telpay senior management on overall progress towards objectives.
• Other duties as required

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Good problem solving ability.
• Proficient computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite, WebEx, GoToMeeting and CRM experience.
• Customer service oriented.
• Ability to travel periodically, estimated once per quarter.
